Every FBS game is on the board at Ozoon, from Week 0 in late August through rivalry week, conference championship weekend, the bowls and the College Football Playoff. The odds above are this week's lines: point spreads, totals and moneylines, with player props, alternate lines and live odds once the ball is in the air.
If you bet the NFL, most of this will look familiar, but college football is its own market. Spreads run bigger, scoring is streakier, rosters turn over every year and overtime works differently, and all of it shows up in the lines.
Ozoon posts next week's college football point spreads on Sunday night and totals on Monday night. Moneylines and first-half lines follow on Tuesday around midday, along with first-quarter lines for selected games. Player props go up by 2 p.m. on game day, or two hours before kickoff. Exact times are on our odds posting schedule.
That Sunday-night opener matters more in college than in the pros. With more than 60 FBS games on a busy Saturday, books can't shade every number perfectly at open, and the first 24 hours is often when a line takes its biggest move.
Most of the action is on Saturday, from the noon ET kickoffs through the late-night games out West. In November, the MAC plays midweek, so there's college football on Tuesday and Wednesday nights too.
NCAA football odds use the same three main lines as the NFL. Here's how they read on an Ohio State–Michigan game, with $20 on each bet (example odds only):
| Bet | Odds | Profit on $20 | Total return |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ohio State -9.5 (spread) | -110 | $18.18 | $38.18 |
| Michigan +9.5 (spread) | -110 | $18.18 | $38.18 |
| Ohio State to win (moneyline) | -380 | $5.26 | $25.26 |
| Michigan to win (moneyline) | +300 | $60.00 | $80.00 |
| Over 45.5 points (total) | -110 | $18.18 | $38.18 |
The favourite gives points and the underdog gets them. Ohio State -9.5 has to win by 10 or more; Michigan +9.5 covers by winning or losing by 9 or fewer. Our point spread guide covers the basics.
Where college differs is the size of the numbers. When a powerhouse hosts a much smaller program, spreads of 30 points or more are normal, and those big numbers bring backdoor covers: the underdog scores a late touchdown against the second string, loses by 24 and still covers +27.5.
Bet on the combined score finishing over or under the line. College totals run higher and vary more than NFL totals, from the low 40s for two strong defences to the 70s for two fast offences. 55 is the most important key number for college totals, with 65 close behind as scoring has climbed, so a total sitting on either is worth more attention than one half a point away.
Two college-specific things move totals. Since 2023, the clock keeps running after first downs except in the last two minutes of each half, which means fewer plays than before. And overtime counts: each team gets a possession from the opponent's 25-yard line, and from the third overtime it's alternating two-point tries, so a game heading for the under can go over in a hurry.
Pick the winner, overtime included. On big favourites the moneyline is often too expensive to be worth it; on short spreads, a small underdog's moneyline is where upsets pay.
The key numbers are still 3 and 7, but they carry less weight than in the NFL because college margins spread out more. Scoring is less predictable, special teams are less consistent and a single turnover can swing a 20-point game.
Rosters change more, too. Between graduation, the NFL Draft and the transfer portal, many teams look very different from one year to the next, so early-season lines lean heavily on reputation. That's often when the gap between a team's price and its real level is widest.
Motivation counts for more than it does in the pros, too. Look-ahead spots before a rivalry game, letdowns after a big win and a team with nothing left to play for in late November all show up in results.
College football player props cover passing, rushing and receiving yards, touchdown scorers and more, posted by 2 p.m. on game day. The Prop Builder lets you create your own, and Same Game Parlays combine props with the spread and total from one game.
Once a game kicks off, live odds update after every drive and score on the live betting page, with Cash Out on singles and parlays. On a full Saturday, live betting lets you jump on a game that isn't playing out the way the pre-game line expected. The football live betting rules explain how in-game bets settle.
The 12-team playoff gives the top four seeds a bye, and the first round is played on campus at the higher seed. Every playoff game gets the full menu of spreads, totals, props and live odds:
| Round | Dates |
|---|---|
| Selection Day | December 6, 2026 |
| First Round (campus sites) | December 18–19, 2026 |
| Quarterfinals: Fiesta | December 30, 2026 |
| Quarterfinals: Peach, Rose, Cotton | January 1, 2027 |
| Semifinals: Orange, Sugar | January 14–15, 2027 |
| National Championship, Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas | January 25, 2027 |
Outside the playoff, dozens of bowl games run from mid-December into January. Before you bet a bowl, check who's actually playing: players opting out to prepare for the NFL Draft, transfers and coaching changes can make a bowl roster look nothing like the one that played in November.

If you've done your homework on a game, the Sunday-night opener is often your best chance at a number before the market corrects it.
Injuries, suspensions and quarterback changes are reported less consistently in college than in the NFL. A program's reputation can keep its price short long after the team on the field has changed.
The week before a rivalry game, the week after an emotional win and the last game of a lost season are where favourites slip.
Wind hurts passing offences and totals in November. Altitude at programs like Air Force and Wyoming is a real factor for visiting teams.
A 30-point favourite has to keep scoring to cover, and its starters are often on the bench by the fourth quarter. That's why big college underdogs are worth a look against the spread, even when they have no chance of winning.
A full slate runs from noon to past midnight ET. Decide what you'll spend before the first kickoff and stick to it.

The talent gap between the top programs and the rest of FBS is far wider than anything in the NFL. Early-season games between a powerhouse and a much smaller school regularly carry spreads of 30 points or more.
For spreads, 3 and 7, though they matter less than in the NFL because college margins vary more. For totals, 55 is the most important number, with 65 close behind.
Yes. Spreads, totals and moneylines include overtime. Each team starts its overtime possession at the opponent's 25-yard line, and from the third overtime teams alternate two-point attempts. See the football betting rules for full details.

Twelve. The top four seeds get a first-round bye, seeds five to eight host first-round games on campus, and the national championship is on January 25, 2027, in Las Vegas.
