American Odds
Volleyball barely has an off-season. The European club leagues start in late September and run through to May, and the national teams take over for the summer. On a winter weekday, Poland's PlusLiga alone can put more matches on the board than some books list for the whole sport.
Every one of them has pre-match lines here, plus live odds that move point by point from the first serve.
Most volleyball betting comes down to one question: how many sets will the match go?
Indoor matches are best of five. Sets one to four are played to 25, a fifth set to 15, and every set needs a two-point margin. That makes match length the thing that drives the scoreboard:

So a match total of 180.5 points isn't really about points. It's asking whether the underdog can win a set. Read the totals and handicaps that way and they make a lot more sense.

Odds show in American format by default (you can switch to decimal in your account settings). Mismatches are common in club volleyball: Perugia or Jastrzębski Węgiel at home to a bottom-half side can easily be -600. That's why regulars tend to skip straight to the handicap.

When a favourite is too short on the moneyline, the -1.5 line is usually where the price is. Club futures are best checked before the season starts and again once playoff seedings settle. Parlay Insurance has its own terms on the promotions page.
A point is scored roughly every 20 seconds, and there's a break between every set. That rhythm is why live volleyball betting is so popular. You can watch a set, form a view and act on it before the next one starts.

Two habits help. First, don't read too much into the first set. Good teams lose it all the time and still win in four, and the live moneyline often swings further than it should. Second, if you like a team that's on the wrong end of a serving run, let the run finish. The number is usually better a few points later.

Canada's men have qualified for three straight Olympics, and almost the entire national team plays its club volleyball in Europe. Put on a PlusLiga or Bundesliga match and there's a decent chance a Canadian is on court. Scarborough's Daenan Gyimah was a starter when Bogdanka LUK Lublin won its first Polish title.
The summer can bring home games too. Volleyball Nations League pools have been played in Quebec City and Ottawa, so there's often a week of Canada on home soil to follow.
Beach is a different game to bet on. With only two players, one bad serving day can decide a match, and a strong wind can wreck a game plan.

Champions League clubs often rest starters at the weekend after a midweek European match. Check the line-up before backing a short favourite.
Big-serving teams win sets in bursts and give away free points on errors. That matters for totals as much as for the winner.
Polish and Korean clubs can play twice in four days with long trips in between. It often shows in the second match.
Make sure a handicap or total is in sets or points before you confirm.

Your team has to win 3-0 or 3-1. A 3-2 win loses the bet. Take the other side at +1.5 and you win if that team wins outright or loses 3-2.
Every point counts, fifth set included. It's only played to 15, but by then the match has usually gone well past a typical total line.
