If you've watched Counter-Strike, Valorant will feel familiar for about a minute. It's five against five, first to 13 rounds, plant or defuse. Then someone drops a wall across mid, someone else flashes the site, and a three-player ultimate wipes your team out. Agents and their abilities make Valorant swingier than CS2, and comebacks are more common. For bettors, that means favourites are a little less safe and live prices move a little more.
We price Valorant across Riot's VCT circuit, from the four international leagues to both Masters events and Champions, with match, map and round markets in American odds.
The Valorant Champions Tour runs to the same shape every year: four international leagues (Americas, EMEA, Pacific and China), two Masters events and Champions at the end.
| Stage | When | What you're getting |
|---|---|---|
| Kickoff | January to February | Each league's opening event. The best teams qualify for the first Masters |
| Masters (first event) | Late February to March | The year's first international LAN |
| Stage 1 | Spring | League play that decides who goes to the second Masters |
| Masters (second event) | June | The second international LAN, with more Championship Points at stake |
| Stage 2 | Summer | The last league stage before Champions |
| Champions | Late summer into autumn | The world championship: groups, then double-elimination playoffs |
Masters and Champions go to a new city each year. The off-season, from the end of Champions to January, is when rosters change most, so early-season form is the least reliable form there is. Results also carry over from one international event to the next less than you'd expect. It's not unusual for a Masters winner to miss Champions the same year. Outrights for upcoming events are on our esports futures page.

They charge from kills, deaths and orbs, not money. A team that's dropped three rounds in a row can still win the fourth on an eco if two big ultimates are ready, which is why Valorant comebacks happen more often than CS2 ones.
Paper Rex are the best-known example: unusual compositions and a lot of aggression. Teams like that beat better-drilled opponents more often than their ranking suggests, and lose to weaker ones the same way. Price them as high variance.
Results between the four regions swing from event to event, and no region stays on top for long. Be more careful with cross-region matches than league ones.
A balance update can change which agents get picked on each map. Teams with wider agent pools adjust faster.
Live markets update between rounds and suspend while a round is in play and after a spike plant. Keep an eye on the ultimate economy as well as the credits. If one team has two or three ultimates ready going into a big round, the live price may not have caught up yet. The side swap after round 12, and the second pistol that comes with it, is the other big swing point.
Broadcasts run on a delay, so live odds can move before you've seen why on stream. Every in-play Valorant market is on the live betting page.
We take Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Tether as well as Interac e-Transfer and cards. Fees and confirmation times vary by coin, and the crypto FAQ explains how deposits and withdrawals work.
Valorant is part of our wider esports betting section. For the same round-based format with a lot more matches each week, try CS2.
Betting on Valorant should be fun, not a way to make money. Only bet what you can afford to lose, and take a break if it stops feeling like entertainment. See Responsible Gaming for the tools available, or Self Exclusion to block your account.

A little. Ultimates give a team that's behind more ways back into a map, so favourites lose slightly more often. You'll notice it most on round totals and map handicaps.
