Ghostly Hallows has a darker style than most pirate Slots, though it still keeps a slightly playful edge in the artwork. The ghostly captain, lantern-lit reels, and murky sea backdrop give it a proper haunted ship mood, and the 6x5 grid suits that nicely because it leaves plenty of room for the tumble system to keep the board shifting after the first win lands. Since it uses an all-scatter format, wins are formed by 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid rather than along fixed paylines.
What gives the game its identity, though, is the cannon mechanic. Multipliers appear behind symbol positions and only matter if a winning symbol lands in front of them. Once collected, they are stored in the cannon beside the grid, waiting for a trigger symbol to arrive at the end of the tumble. That extra delay makes the feature feel more suspenseful than a standard instant Multiplier setup. The two Bonus rounds change how that tension plays out. Cannon of the Damned keeps stored Multipliers alive until they are fired, while Ghostly Pirate’s Trail lets the Multiplier remain for the full Bonus feature. Ghostly Hallows can be a bit stop-start, but it has a nice way of suddenly getting much more interesting when the right pieces line up.
• Tumbling all-scatter wins: Wins are created with 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid. Winning symbols disappear and let new ones fall in, which can create additional tumbles.
• Cannon feature: The stored Multiplier only becomes active if the special trigger symbol lands at the end of the tumble. Without it, the base game stored value does not get applied.
• Two Bonus modes: 3 Bonus Scatters trigger Cannon of the Damned, while 4 Bonus Scatters trigger Ghostly Pirate’s Trail. Both award 10 Free Spins, but the second Bonus keeps collected Multipliers persistent through the entire round.
